Frequently Asked Questions
Is SolaWave waterproof?
SolaWave is not waterproof. You should never submerge your SolaWave underwater or get it wet. Do not use it in the shower.
How warm does SolaWave get during use?
The SolaWave Wand’s heated head evenly delivers soothing warmth at approximately 100°F
How do i charge SolaWave? Can I use it while charging?
To charge SolaWave Wand, use the included micro USB cable with a wall adapter, a computer with a USB 2.0 port, or a portable battery pack. To fully charge your wand, connect to a power source for 2 hours. A fully charged wand will last for one hour of continuous use.
The SolaWave Wand cannot be used while it is charging. You must unplug your SolaWave from the charging source prior to use.
Do not use a high speed charger as it will damage the battery and potentially impact the function of the wand.
What are the SolaWave dimensions & weight?
Designed for portability, SolaWave only weighs 1oz and is 6 in long.
Can I use SolaWave with my own skincare products?
Absolutely! You can use your own products (serums, moisturizers, and/or creams) in conjunction with our SolaWave Serums or as stand alones. If choosing to substitute our serums, we recommend incorporating products that contain conductive ingredients (e.g. aloe vera) to fully benefit from the microcurrent technology. If you use products without conductive ingredients, you can still benefit from the wand’s other features.
Is SolaWave portable?
Yes! SolaWave is compact and rechargeable and plenty of people carry it around with them.
How do I clean my SolaWave?
Clean your SolaWave Wand by spraying a dry cloth with water or disinfecting spray and wiping down the head. Do not spray the wand directly or submerge your wand in any way. Once dry, store your SolaWave Wand in a clean, dry, place.
Caution: Never submerge your SolaWave in water. It is not waterproof.
How often can I use the SolaWave wand?
That's entirely up to you. We recommend starting out at five minutes per day for the first few days. As your skin acclimates, you can use it for longer and as frequently as desired (up to 30 minutes). Always be mindful of how your skin reacts to beauty devices and decrease usage if your skin needs a break.
Who should not use the SolaWave Wand?
Out of an abundance of caution, we do not recommend using the SolaWave wand if you are under 18, have an active or recent cancer diagnosis, have a pacemaker (or other implanted metal in your body), or are pregnant.
If you have any concerns please consult your physician as they will best be able to speak to your specific situation.
